Hi, I’m Shamiur.

I build websites for a living and break software for fun. This blog is where I write about both.

I have spent years working with platforms like WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, and Squarespace, setting up hosting, fixing broken sites, and testing whatever new tool promised to make the job easier. Most of them did not. A few genuinely did.

That is basically why this blog exists. Every time I searched for a straight answer about a tool or a host, I got the same thing back: twenty listicles recommending everything, or a vendor page recommending itself. Almost nothing that said “here is what I actually tried, here is what broke, here is what I would pick.”

So I started writing that myself.

What I Write About

Cybersecurity
VPNs, antivirus, password managers, and the security basics most people skip until something goes wrong. I keep it practical, not paranoid.

Cloud and Hosting
Web host comparisons, cloud platform guides, and real cost breakdowns. I have moved enough client sites between hosts to know where the hidden pain is.

AI Tools
I test AI and generative AI tools and write about what they are actually good at, and where they fall apart. The limits matter as much as the features.

Productivity and Team Software
Project management apps, communication tools, and the small workflow changes that save real hours. I run a team, so I test these the hard way.

How I Review Things

I use the tool before I write about it. If something is overpriced, buggy, or just not worth switching to, I will say so.

When I recommend something, I explain why. When I do not, I explain that too.
